Purchased a ticket through Cheap Best Fares and received a confirmation.
When I went to airline site, they said there was no confirmed ticket. I emailed the site.
16 hours later they called to say it was not confirmed because price had gone up and they asked me for more than $200. As I had made other arrangements by then I had no choice but to pay the extra.
When I checked the airline, i found the ticket cost was exactly what the site had charged, so the idea that they would save me some money was not realized.
They refused to explain why and the reps were obviously out of country, as seems to happen often, and were quite difficult to understand. They simply explained the company policy.
