Seniors Beware - Scam

On 4/24/15 I paid for a subscription to Woman’s Day. A month later I received a “payment overdue” invoice. After writing a letter with a copy of the check payment, I received another invoice the following month.

Now, I researched with the bank’s help and found that they had received my check and deposited it on 4/30/15 to their bank account. I wrote another letter and included a copy of the signed and deposited check.

Yesterday 7/13/15, I received two invoices and letters demanding the subscription payment which was only $6.25, In spite of the fact that in my last letter I told them that if this harassment continued I would expose them via my computer.

I am 93 years old and do believe that many people my age would become confused with all the invoices and letters and continue to pay for something they never owed.
