Rip off on Pre Pay

I pre-paid for a rental car from Enterprise, and canceled it 12 hours before the rental pick up…

They charged me a $100.00 because I pre-paid.

I called and no body could help ya till you get to a supervisor and then the fee still stuck because it was a pre pay…

So I get it your penalty for pre-paying up front is $100. NICE…

But, never again.

Today, I made a decision to rent a car for 04/25/2017 and return by the morning of 04/27/201 7. The lady that handled my reservation did her job. She was trained to be a professional customer care people. I required for someone to pick up me up. However, the customer service person transferred me to a person who was to pick me up. Terrible service. Was charged $40 for insurance on the vehicle when the other person’s insurance was already paying for everything. I have an SUV and they gave me a tiny car to drive. Now look at my bank account and I have 2 additional charges of $27 for what? All around terrible service. They made me drop the car off to get an SUV if I wanted to do so. They made the mistake but expect me to drive it back and do the work. Ripped off and not good service at all.

by the way this crooked guy didn’t put his name on the receipt which that explains everything and he kept my copy of the agreement so I went back and insisted I need my copy of which I’m entitled to have it and kept saying is nothing written there ??!! really ? so as I insisted he gave me the copy but who do I’ll complain to as no CEO is available for that, they don’t care of how customers are treated. Me too I had a very bad experience here in Illinois, Hanover Park. I had a reservation and when I had to pay the fee this guy wanted to charge me almost double than what was stated on the form I had from them when I first came into their office. Is like a jungle, all they want is to rip off people and they feel tat they’re so famous and invincible. Enterprise is joke! I got a car due to an accident and Geico set it all up, I also called to arrange a pick up after work and wanted a car, not a truck! First, the were not at my work at the specified time, when I called, they had no record of me???? Finally got picked up 1/2 hour later, had to cancel an appointment I had, got to Enterprise, and they had a truck??? It`s been a year since my experience and I still fume over it. Never has any company insulted me the way they did. Traveled the US over many years with great experiences and few problems relating to personal up front socializing or business. Enterprise has some really bad upside down Obama type voters with a terrible approach with customers and abuse it. I bought every insurance policy they had and they still found a way to get me out of money. I strongly recommend to anyone to not use Enterprise because chances are you will regret it.

this company sucks and have a very poor customer service!! last march I rented a car on one of their location along La brea and beverly c/o my Insurance (Safeco) before i pick-up the car, I talk to the receptionist and the once who handed the key to me and told them that Im not gonna get extra insurance for the car because my insurance covered the time that i have the car, the lady there then told me ” ok, but if something happened to the car, you will be responsible for it.- I said yes i understand, then… Read more »

For ONE ,you shouldn’t be able to reserve a car at a specific location if they have NO CARS on the lot!!!!! what kind of Service is that!!!!!! Its not the employees that work there’s fault, its the company. figure out a way to deny reservations as i have made several trips to enterprise after “reserving” a car and they don’t have anything to Accommodate me! Ive watched the poor kids in the office get screamed at by renters, and although I’m one of those angry customers, it is not AT ALL the employees fault. I have had an issue with a car that was rented to me by Enterprise through Progressive as a result of an insurance claim. I returned the car, apparently there was a scratch on it when I returned it. My insurance company refused to handle it because they would not send them a copy of the contract. They gave me no notice of this until I had like 10 days…or else. They have sent me a bill for the damages without any photos or invoice for the repairs. Also, my "claims rep" is non responsive, and I also can’t get… Read more »

I reserved a Mini Van on March 31th, 2013 at the enterprise on greenbrier and s Military highway .
