Defective phone - Cricket Wireless

This company sold me a defective phone. I was told at time of purchase that if I had any issues I could bring the phone back within 30 days.

10 days later I returned because the phone would not hold a charge for more than 8 hours of standby time. The salesman denied making that statement and told me that I have to call the warranty department.

I called them and they had me ship the bare phone back to them.

5 days without a phone later I get a replacement. This one will only hold a charge for 13 hours of standby time.

Now they tell me that I have to buy a new battery to test this replacement phone, and they say that even though they sold me this phone with a battery in it, that they will not stand behind what they sell.
