Automatic charges for replying STOP to their intrusive texts. - Boss Revolution

I got three texts today. I replied STOP to cancel them. I was informed via text that I was charged, now had a pin access number, and thanks for signing up with Boss Revolution. I called customer service. The rep asked for my phone number and login password (which I felt was suspect and didn’t want to give him). He said I would not be charged anything, that I had a provisional credit of $1.00 on my account.

The problem I have is that an account was even authorized to be opened. I never consented to anything with this company, from opting in to their annoying texts, to actually signing up to their service.

I will be watching my phone bill like a hawk to make sure I am not charged for something suspicious. Unethical way to treat prospective customers.
