I had my first and last experience with this company out here in Phoenix, AZ..I decided I needed a massage for the second time of my life and went to Massage Envy at the Norterra Location in North Phx..When I came out..Kinda dizzy and felt my toxins leave my body I could not drive..Well thats when they got me..They were talking to me on how I can sign up for a yr and cancel at anytime..I felt rushed and pushed into this yr contract..But I signed it..Thinking I will go again..

Well I got busy in Life and they kept withdrawing from my acct..I had so many hrs that I had to transfer my 1 hrs to friends..Which was an additional $10..Then when my credit card expired 2 months before contract was up they called me to get my new credit card #..I asked how many hrs do I have and they told me 4 but I could not use them until I gave them a new credit card #..I was highly upset and hung up on them..Then I found out that if you have a medical condition that I may have a chance to get out of the yearly contract..

So I gave Massage Envy a call and they were rude and told me..”GOOD LUCK getting out of this contract because it will renew itself in a yr and will continue to do so every year.” I said “It cannot renew itself once I fulfill the yr contract and she said that there is a small print indicating that Massage Envy can continue to withdraw from your account every month even after the yr is up..I said well then It wouldn’t be a yr contract it would be a FOREVER contract..The Rep at Massage Envy said “Well Yes”….I was so upset that I told her that I have fibromyalgia and she told me well then you need to get a doctors note stating that Massages are harmful to your health..

I called my rheumotologist and explained the story and they were surprised..They called Massage Envy for me to get a form for the doctor to fill out and send back to them about my case and when they spoke to the representative at Massage Envy they said she was rude and did not want to send the form but they did..I never thought I would ever be taken for..I at least should get my 4 hrs of service that I already paid for..But I know they will not let me..I work in a Hospital here in Scottsdale, AZ and have let a lot of nurses and friends know not to deal with Massage Envy..Now I am going to take it a step further and post signs within the hospital to let them know not to BE SCAMMED like I was..
