My complaint is against the store ROOMS TO GO on 10300 US Highway 441 STE 9 Leesburg Fl.
I purchased a floor Lamp for my living room on Friday 6/29/12. I was told that I could take the lamp on display or order a new one. The price for both would be the same, no discount for the one on the floor. IT was in good condition so I took it to safe on delivery charges.
After bringing the lamp home, I did not like the way it looks in my living room, it is too big and over powers the rest of my furniture.
I phoned the store on Sunday morning 7/1/12 and told them that I was going to return it. It was then that they informed me that the lamp was a floor model and discontinued and they do not give refunds or exchanges for it, I asked for a store credit and was denied. I was never told by the sales man that the lamp was not returnable or a final sale or discontinued. What he told me was that I could order a new one or take the one on the floor. When I decided to phone them is when I saw the Final Sale As i Is stamped on the receipt. I never saw it in the store, when I signed the receipt.
I feel that I have been deceived by this store. They have very bad sales practice.

I tried asking for a store credit about 30 hrs. of making the purchase to no avail.
