I purchased a KitchenAid stove with a double oven in black. Pasta water boiled over and spilled into the vent on top of both oven doors that leads into the space BETWEEN the two panes of glass. That spill CANNOT be cleaned by me. It is inaccessible.

I spoke to customer service who told me even though it was still under warranty it is a COSMETIC issue. Which means that it would be a service call with a minimum charge of $75.00.

It now has to cost me at the very least $75.00 to clean the glass that will get dirty again. I am very disappointed in the product and the way that they handled my complaint. It is a poor design and should be addressed as such.

I now have to look at my $1,500.00 with dirty glass.

I have the Kitchen Aid 75th Anniversary Edition Mixer. I have had it for 19 years and have never had to have
any service performed on it. I do alot of specialty cakes around the holidays and making frosting, cookies
also. I don't know what I would do without my Wonderful Mixer.
My sister is the one who got hers first, but not the Anniversary one. I loved hers so much that when I saw the
75th Anniversary one I just had to have it. I don't think that I have even used my engraved bowl that came with
    it.
I am looking into purchasing another mixer, like the 7 qt. one. I really would like to know what the power
difference is? I see some that have the 1.3HP, and others that have like 575 watts. What is the better of the 2?
