We purchased your 32″ Coby TFDVD 3299 for my 86 year old mother for Christmas in Nov 2012.

Most TV’s you take out of the box and hook them up and scan in the channels and they are ready to go……Not so with this one.

We hooked it up to our Charter cable line and finally after much reading of the instruction manual and trying to scan channels in – we got a picture. The problem is the sound automatically on it’s own goes all the way to max. We then tried to go to settings as instructed- the settings on their own fastley on their own jump from I think it is picture, audio, and 2 others. We as it rapidly jumps from one to the other tried to get it to stop on audio to see if we could get the volume of max and to get it off whatever is causing it to automatically go to max volume.

We have been unable to stop the volume from going to max whenever the TV is on.

The TV was sent in to Coby Jan 2, 2013 it is now Feb. 26 aand still no TV.

Customer Service is very poor, I never heard anything from them.

I called today and was told that the TV was not logged into Coby until Jan 24th?????? 20 days. Now they tell me that to expect ti to be 6 to 8 weeks ….this is unacceptable for a brand new TV that never worked straight out of the box. On top of that I hav to send $30+ to get them to fix their brand new TV that never worked.

I will never buy anything with the Coby name on it

    I Bought A Tablet in St Marteen In November It has been useless and sent it back to Coby Who say they haven't signed the post delivery . I live in Scotland and sent it for delivery assured in 3 days . They won't do anything and say It is not advised to send from Europe .Do'nt Buy In the Carribean Duty Free Shops since Coby Guarantee is not Valid it would seem in Europe. I Feel I have been Stung!!

    Maybe read the warranty card after the purchase, it tells you about the shipping fees, it does not mention including your own label, your not even sure they use UPS? If you do not agree, you have 30 days to return it to the store. Where people like you fail is not reading anything and just assuming what things are (every other company does it).
