I got Green chef from Groupon, and got their first box. The food was uninspiring, and required my daughter, the chef, to fix the recipe. I notified Green Chef that I was unsatisfied. No response. I requested by email that they cancel my orders. They emailed me back, saying I had to go to a special place on their website.
Meanwhile, they sent me another box! The vegetables in it had been frozen in transit, ruining them. I also notified them of that. I tried to cancel on their special site, after receiving the surprise box. They said it was too late to cancel for next week, and I would be charged 98.00!
On their cancel site, all I got was an endless message saying, “working”-it would not go through. So whatever you do, don’t order from them. If you look on Yelp, you’ll see a lot of other people had the same problem. T
heir food is uninspiring, and frankly, other services are better. Their customer service is a nightmare. It’ll cost you $300.00 to cancel with them. Don’t let this be you.
