NuWave PIC – Still waiting
I had been looking at a similar product at a local store. The purchase price for the local PIC was less than the price of one NuWave PIC including their s & h, but with their buy one get one free offer, the price for two was considerable less than the price for two at the local store. So I Ordered NuWave PIC in June with the buy one get one free offer, one for me and the other as a gift.
The first one arrived by the end of June and the invoice said that they were temporarily out of stock, but that the second would be shipped as soon as possible. To their credit, they did refund the second s & h charge on my credit card. At the end of July, I received an email apologizing for the delay, and informing me that they would be shipping back ordered items in chronological order. Now it is the end of August, and still no second PIC. I had to scramble to find another birthday gift that the second PIC was purchased for since I had already used the first one.
How long does it take a cargo ship to go from China to California? I wonder if the second one was out of stock because I refused to purchase any of their “free” gifts. Since they refunded the s & h for the second PIC, technically I have received what I was charged for. But then again, if I only wanted one PIC, I would have bought it at the local store for $10.00 less. This is starting to look like a variation of bait and switch. Definitely won’t be buying anything else from this company again.
