NuWave PIC – Scammed And Disappointed
Nu Wave PIC offer is nothing but a scam! I ordered this unit with a buy one get one free, along with a bonus cookware set free also. Was supposed to $33.33 for three payments plus s&p of 69.90. I received my two cook tops, but no cookware. I called CS many. times only to get recordings to leave number and they will call you back, but no calls. I have ask several times for a return authorization, but none given. So, they charged my card $103.23 for the first charge, with 2 payment coming later for $33.33 each. So after no response other than an e-mail, I have cancelled my credit card, and ask for a new one. They will never get the other two payments.Unless I am refunded my original price charged. Note, that this is within the first 30 days, not 90 days. Here is a copy of the e-mail I received. Note the lie about it notifies that there is a s&p charge of $69.95 per set. Yes, the site does offer you the Ultimate Cookware Set free, just pay s&p per set. When an order is placed online it informs you of what the cookware set contains as well as it notifies that there is a s&p charge of $69.95 per set. Also before going on to the next page you would manually have to change the quantity from 2 to 0 if you do not agree in paying the s&p cost.
Your payment of $103.23 include
1st PIC Unit at $33.33 plus $29.95 s&p discounted price
2nd PIC Unit at $39.95 s&p regular cost.

I found it unusual that they wanted the credit card information on the first page. After the CC number is in their hands they can manipulate you in any number of ways in the next few pages.
I was ripped off like other customers. Better Business Bureau needs to get involved with this scam. They lied and overcharged my account.

What a horrible Customer service this company provides. I listened to that info-mercial several times, and I, too was scammed about the cookware. I already paid $30.00 for s&h and assumed that included the cookware. After leaving 7 phone messages, I decided to send an email and quickly told them if I dont hear from someone within the next 48 hours, the next call I make will be to the BBB. I received an email promptly as was told that I declined the FREE cookware and the $69.95 for shipping. ( That doesn't sound like FREE to me). So my next move is a return authorization code, because I don't want this crap, and shame on them for misleading their customers!
