USPS – Harassment
I have been having trouble mailing items from the Vintondale Post Office, It seems that the Vintondale Post Master has a problem with me and my Wife, We were being over charged for shipping on items that we sell on e-bay, I would go into the USPS system online and calculate the postage needed and when we would take it to mail out I would be charged a lot more that what was stated on line so I started buying postage on line that worked for a while but two month ago the Post Master started charging us extra and adding postage due to our packages sometimes it would be up to 20 or 30 dollars more, I contacted her supervisor and told her the problem she told me to look for another way to ship my items so I started taking my items to other Post Offices and would only go to the Vintondale Post Office on Saturdays when the Assistant was there.
Today she was working, My wife took two packages down and was once again was told that the package was over weight and would have to add charges to the package so my wife took the package to the Nanty Glo office and had them Measured and weighed and it was just what the shipping label called for, We also have problem with my mail being sent to other people in town most of the time I get important letters that are open, I have contacted the Johnstown office to report this harassment but am always told someone would call me back.
