All you get from Nuwave is the wave
Placed a phone order in response to an infomercial July 22, 2012 for a cook top. The pitch was if I buy right then, I would get another cook top free. Also I would receive a 3.5 quart stainless steel pot, a steamer basket, a 9 inch no stick fry pan, a 10.5 inch no stick fry pan and a fondue set. Received the 2 cook tops on July 24, 2012. As of this date, September 5, 2012, I have not received the cook ware. I called the customer service number 855-742-2665 on 8/3, 8/13, 8/21 and 9/5. The recorded response is due to the response to their sales, they will contact me later. I was asked for my name, my order number, my phone number and my email address. Gave them all the information requested. I have not heard from them in any manner. Using the Fed Ex tracking number shows delivery of one 16 pound box. this was the box that contains the two cook tops. I have lost the $169.39. Because of their poor service, I want to return the cook tops, but can’t get a return authorization. I too didn’t buy any of the other items offered.

My name is Becky and I am the Social Media Marketing Manager at Hearthware, producers of the NuWave PIC. Although the Complete Cooking Package is a free gift that goes with the BOBO PIC offer, the gift does require the agreement of shipping and processing charges before the gift can be sent. Those charges are $69.95 per package on an item that has a well over $200 value. Without having direct access to your respective orders, my guess is that in both cases, the S&P charges were not explicitly authorized. I apologize if this was not explained. After reading the problems, I am very disappointed that I will not be placing an order. It looked like a great product, but I refuse to get taken by another company that refuses to provide customer service. Hopefully this company will realize that more money could be made if customer service were a top issue.
Right along with everyone else, I received one cooktop and the grill that I asked for and have paid for. Beyond that, I have rec'd nothing else, being told that things were on backorder…blah, blah, blah. When I decided to email back to the one gal who told me about the backorder situation I rec'd a reply from someone different, telling me basically that "they were waiting for my approval before sending anything more". I responded that "I didn't realize I needed to do that, please accept this as the needed approval" and haven't heard a word since…….I'm believe I've been 'had' like everyone else. I wonder if anyone is taking them to small claims…….or how does one go about trying to get their money back?
